The Guild of the Holy Apostles is a group of clergy, religious and laity within the Old Catholic, Independent Catholic and autocephalous Orthodox traditions dedicated to the preservation of the historic Apostolic Succession and traditional liturgy. The Guild functions as a communion of individuals and jurisdictions who assent to the agreed landmarks.

One of the member bishops is elected to be Master of the Guild of the Holy Apostles and assisted by the Administrator he leads the Guild. The Master of the Guild for the year 2022 - 2023 is the Most Revd Martyn Douglas, Archbishop of The Ecumenical Society of St Augustine of Canterbury.

Occasional events are organised from time to time, though the main means of regular communication between members is a facebook group.

The Guild Prayer

We thank thee Lord for the teaching and example of Thy holy Apostles, and we pray that those to whom their wondrouos power has descended may ever be filled with Thy wisdom and thy love, that under their firm guidance Thy holy church may ever joyfully serve the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost, one God for evermore. Amen.
